Biomass Power

Lateral Power has inhouse expertise in forestry management and biomass processing. With our partners in Canada, USA and Brazil we are working to produce torrefied pellets and processed wood pellets to establish the back bone of our supply chain of fuel.

 

With established UK suppliers we have an additional supply of UK produced biomass to fuel the planned power stations and are working towards investing in other complementary business's who will add to our fuel supply.

 

Anglesey Biomass Power Station.

Our proposed power station in Anglesey, North Wales, is the centre of our UK strategy and forms the nucleus of all our concepts and startegic development plans. The modular design will form the template for all our future biomass power station developments.

 

All thermal power stations are relatively inefficient. Lateral's power station on Anglesey will generate electricity from the thermal degradation of biomass and utilise the waste bi-products from the process to create added value, profits, jobs and research and development opportunities for other green technologies and food production processes.

 

The power station is a unique modular design and will run at 299MW (E) 24/7, continually supplying the grid.
