Eco Parks and Biomass Power Stations
Most power generating plants are inefficient and waste
energy. Lateral Power's proposed UK power stations will
generate electricity from the thermal degradation of biomass and
use the waste by-products from the power process.
The super heat will generate steam to drive turbines; the warm
water will feed a specialist fish farm;the soiled water from the
fish combined with the CO2 from the power plant will feed
hydroponic greenhouses producing organic lettuce and
vegetables. We use what most processes throw away. Even
the ash from the power plant is used as a soil improver and
block agregate. Our only waste product is water vapour, the
plant produces no toxic emissions.
The objective of each project is to provide; sustainable
electricity for the UK power grid; healthy fresh grown food
products for sale to local and regional British cities; employment
and sustainable income for local residents; reduce the carbon
footprint of importation of food from overseas.
The company with it's strategic partners is very
experienced in power generation from biomass and has a number of
innovative green energy projects in the pipeline.
We currently have offices in:
Chester, England and Dublin, Ireland and will
shortly be opening a new office in Holyhead, Anglesey,
Wales.
